At JOKARI, responsible use of energy, materials, and resources has always been a top priority. Even company founder Josef Krampe focused on efficient energy use over 50 years ago – for example, by reusing waste heat from production to heat the company buildings. This approach continues to this day and is further developed in many areas.

Well-thought-out packaging concept

The packaging of JOKARI products are designed for easy recycling and reuse, while maintaining high stability and an appealing product experience. JOKARI participates in the dual system "Der Grüne Punkt" (The Green Dot), supporting the orderly return of recyclable materials to the material cycle.

Our customers have a choice:

  • The folding blister pack is made from recycled material and includes an insert made of FSC®-certified paper.
  • The folding box, made from FSC®-certified cardboard, is fully recyclable and reliably protects the products during transport and storage – while also boasting a modern look.
     

 

Environmentally friendly energy management

We generate electricity using solar energy via solar panels located on our production roofs. Cooling and heating of our production and office spaces are provided by heat pumps and geothermal systems, which use energy efficiently and maintain consistent temperatures.
JOKARI prioritizes durable products: Thanks to the high quality of materials and workmanship, our tools remain reliable for many years.

JOKARI wire stripping solutions: 100% Made in Germany – made by JOKARI

Made in Germany – this globally recognized designation of origin is not a long-term corporate strategy at JOKARI, but rather a company philosophy that has been lived in all areas since its founding in the 1960s. All business decisions are therefore based on these values.

Since the company was founded over 50 years ago, the entire production process – from product development and production to warehousing and logistics – has taken place exclusively in our own toolmaking facility with a plastic injection molding shop at the Ascheberg site. Furthermore, our raw material suppliers are located – wherever possible – in Germany, but at least in Europe.

But social commitment is also a topic we are committed to, for example, by receiving support from workshops with people with disabilities during pre-assembly.
