JOKARI: Focus on sustainability and 100% Made in Germany
Sustainability has always been a priority at JOKARI: More than 50 years ago, company founder Josef Krampe made efforts in this area, for example, by using waste heat from production machines to heat buildings. The company continues these consistent actions to this day and has expanded them in several areas:
Sustainable Packaging Concept
The packaging of JOKARI products boasts a high recycling content and recyclability, as well as the reusability of the materials, without compromising on the feel and product experience for the customer. JOKARI is a member of the German dual system "The Green Dot," which means that the recycling concept is already firmly established within the company.
Our customers have the choice: Our folding blister pack is made from 100% recycled material and has a paper insert made from 100% FSC-certified material. The folding box made from FSC-certified paper is fully recyclable and also effectively protects the products from damage during transport and storage. At the same time, it looks very appealing.
Environmentally friendly energy management
A significant portion of electricity production is generated through the use of waste heat and solar energy. Furthermore, the cooling and heating of the production facilities and offices is achieved using heat pumps and geothermal energy.
Thanks to the high standards of workmanship and materials and the resulting unique product quality, JOKARI tools can be used for many years. This longevity makes the stripping tools sustainable.

Made in Germany – this globally recognized designation of origin is not a long-term corporate strategy at JOKARI, but rather a company philosophy that has been lived in all areas since its founding in the 1960s. All business decisions are therefore based on these values.
Since the company was founded over 50 years ago, the entire production process – from product development and production to warehousing and logistics – has taken place exclusively in our own toolmaking facility with a plastic injection molding shop at the Ascheberg site. Furthermore, our raw material suppliers are located – wherever possible – in Germany, but at least in Europe.
But social commitment is also a topic we are committed to, for example, by receiving support from workshops with people with disabilities during pre-assembly.
